Pasantía – INACAP, Chile
During the month of January 2015, two groups of INACAP (Universidad Tecnológica de Chile) students will participate in two independent certificates offered by the FIU-DRR Program: 1) Disaster Risk Management and 2) Hazmat Inspection. Each certificate is a five-day intensive program that includes classroom lessons, hands-on activities, and onsite learning visits to public and private organizations. The certificate program is designed for undergraduate students at INACAP interested in pursuing leadership duties in the fields of disaster risk management, industrial safety, and health care in the future, and those who want to gain greater knowledge and understanding of the technical area and the environment in which they would operate in the U.S.
