Risk Management in the University and the Local Community
The National University of Education is a leading public institution in Peru that traces its origins to 1822. Its focus is the education of teachers and administrators, although it has academic departments in other fields. It offers doctoral and masters programs.
The project has three objectives:
- To promote lasting consciousness of risks at the National University of Education, among administrators, staff, and faculty members, that would generate a culture of risks prevention in the university and in the local community.
- To promote lasting consciousness of risks among students at the National University of Education for them to promote a culture of risks prevention in the university and in the local and regional communities.
- To promote lasting consciousness of risks in the communities near the university to promote a culture of risks prevention.
Luis Rueda is the Project Investigator. Luis Rueda is President of the Education Committee on Risk Management at the National University of Education. He is also a Professor of Science at the University and Director of the Office of Evaluation and Accreditation. He has training and has taught courses in risk management.
